OK, I lied. Or at least I was a few years behind.
I just sat through a 75 minute video by Scott Kelby (I subscribe to his stuff)
on printing books from Lightroom CC. I then spent a few minutes in my Lightroom
6.9 playing with book layouts etc.
The current LR, either version, seems much more flexible than what I remembered
from back a few versions ago when they first introduced the book module. I now
see no good reason not to use LR for your book layout.
Note that they have a link to Blurb, but you have the option of saving your
book as a PDF and I believe that other on-line print services can import a PDF
and go from there. So you are not stuck with Blurb if you prefer somebody else.
