A 5 minute walk from there is Rue Daru with the beautiful Russian orthodox cathedral.
I've lived there (Rue Daru, not the cathedral...) for some time in '76. Sunday mass used to be fun. Mind you, those were the days of the Soviet Union and most of the old Russian aristocracy was living in Paris. So, just before mass, everybody was standing and chatting on the square in front and the suddenly they would all go quiet and everybody bowed while a battered old 2CV or Simca stopped in front and some Great Duke would alight from it.
