I found my copy of “Birds of Michigan” and checked to the Pine Siskin photo. Maybe. But my bird ha a longer beak and bigger eyes with goggles like a Thrush. The wing markings are correct, but my bird has much longer legs. Still not sure about this one.
I’m leaning more toward the female Redwing Blackbird as suggested by Mathew Hunt. The long legs, head markings and feather color are in synch with that bird. http://www.aspensongwildbirdfood.com/bird-profiles/red-winged-blackbird Paul > On Apr 25, 2017, at 7:59 PM, Ken Waller <kwal...@peoplepc.com> wrote: > > Paul, the closest bird to yours, in my 'Birds of Michigan Book', is a Pine > Siskin > > Kenneth Waller > http://www.pentaxphotogallery.com/kennethwaller > > ----- Original Message ----- From: "Paul Stenquist" <pnstenqu...@mac.com> > Subject: Help!
