We're having a lot of rabbits this year. I found a rabbit's nest when I
was moving a wood pile over to where I could split the logs. Fortunately
it was late enough in the year the baby bunnies could survive after I
removed their cover.

Today, as I was leaving the Colusa Ntl Refuge after a lean full tour drive,
I passed the viewing deck. Crouched in front of it was a frozen Cottontail.
Unusual to see a rabbit other than a Jackrabbit.
Took a couple frames and am posting one here.
Apparently I'm pretty desperate for a fresh wildlife image.
