Love that chair! it's like a Gorey without people or animals Bike nice too, but the chair wins over it ann On 6/11/2017 7:41 PM, Godfrey DiGiorgi wrote:
I ran a second roll of Washi 120 (rice paper film) through the Hasselblad. I'm pleased ... I changed my processing and have learned a bit more about the film speed and best processing practices. Here are a couple of them... https://flic.kr/p/Uq1pHq https://flic.kr/p/Ut6Rhx (You can see all the Washi 120 photos on my flickr.com site: https://www.flickr.com/gp/gdgphoto/1FSsak ) Using paper developer expanded the tonal scale nicely and I think now I've got a handle on the ISO setting to use (ISO 5, maybe as low as ISO 3 for flat lighting). I like how the paper structure is embedded into the image with this material. The tonal scale is somewhat short but it shows surprising detail when given enough exposure. Fun stuff. I think I know how to work the film now. Hopefully, the next roll will have some more interesting photos... :-) onwards! G — The trouble with being punctual is that nobody's there to appreciate it.
