Negatives are printed with a diffussion light source.
They are scanned with a point source.
The resolution limit for a wet print from a medium format
negative is around 60 lppm, but 1/4 that is more likely in the
real world with real negatives rather than 1000:1 TOC targets.
So, you need to get better than 15 lppm to the paper with your
inkjet printer.
This shouldn't be hard to get with an inkjet.
