Although I have never owned one (but tempted too), I remeber reading somewhere that one of the reasons it was discontinued was because the folding body did not supply enough rigidity to give justice to the lens. Still, my old Moskva 5 folder gives slides sharp for any practical purpose... Just my 0.02
