I've been watching it for several weeks and am surprised at how long the salmon run has been. Its quite an experience as you say Dan, I've been there twice, got numerous good to great shots, but never got the 'Mangelson' shot of the salmon leaping into the bear's mouth.

of Brooks River to feast on the largest Sockeye Salmon run in the world.

Right now, one can see salmon trying to jump over the falls, and grizzlies
in the river looking for a meal.
