OK might have guessed you had good reason. As it happens, I just sent you an off list question about such. I shoot TAV often and am in the habit of setting the ISO to 2000 which is considered MAX. I often wonder what was actually being chosen, but find no exif data record. I do, of course set the shutter speed, so am aware.
Thanks! Nope, I needed every bit of that sensitivity to get a good exposure. I shot in TAv mode, and it required ISO 8000 for f8 @ 1/640th. It’s dark in those hedges on a cloudy day. i could have used a slower shutter speed, but I can’t change the shutter every time a bird perches, so I keep it high enough to capture some action if the opportunity presents itself. > On Aug 30, 2017, at 2:49 PM, Jack Davis <[email protected]> wrote: > > Cute! > I wonder if he wouldn't have been > just as cute at 640 ISO? > Am fairly confident (although not > certain) it would have also satisfied the 640 shutter(?) > J > > Sent from my iPhone > >> On Aug 30, 2017, at 10:57 AM, Paul Stenquist <[email protected]> wrote: >> >> My bird population is growing, and the sparrows are most numerous.
