Sorry for a major OT, - but I know that some PDMLers are using BT-enabled devices (tablets, phones, IoT devices).

A major vulnerability of BlueTooth protocol implementation in many devices has been disclosed 3 days ago: https://www.armis.com/blueborne/

tl;dr: This vulnerability can be exploited whenever your vulnerable device has BT turned on. Update if a patch is available. Otherwise turn off BT whenever is not in use to minimize potential exposure. Note that many (at least Windows) laptops have BT turned on by default if you haven't configured it otherwise.

And if you have IoT devices at home, wrap aluminum foil around your house. ;-)

Cheers,

Igor
