Robert.I NORMALLY test the rewind knob to check for film,
but it was a long day/night and when i did it the next
day,i was half a sleep and had only 1 coffee
in me<G>
No direct light,it was about 6:30 am and very overcast out
side.
Yep, i think i'll just do this once.

Depends on how much light hit the exposed negs. If 27 were wound 
tightly 

on the take-up roll, you did not have a bright spotlight pointed into 
the camera, and you closed it promptly, you may lose only a few. If 
you 
had it open for too long and there was a lot of light you may lose 
more.
