I was thinking the same thing Paul. At some point want to experiment with a light under a clear box with flowers/petals/blooms and anything that is colorful and clear so the light passing through them.

Not sure what plant it is, but they are dried leaves I collected somewhere -- might be some sort of willow ?

It's a flat bed scan, and the shooting area of my scanner is about 9 x 12" , to give you sense of scale
