It certainly is. More like a pheasant than the brown & grey (camouflaged?) fowl we have around here.

This is from the 1992 trip to Alaska... actually taken in the Yukon...
along the Dempster /"Highway " (a gravel road in the tundra- but a major
road none the less.)
