We have two older and larger magnolia trees that lack the beautiful foliage
of this tree.  The others losee all there leaves in late fall, and have
many white blossoms in early spring, before the new leaves appear.  This
specimen retains its leaves all winter, and does not bloom all at once, but
has a few blooms at a time from mid-spring through late summer.
