On average, across all subjects, I do about 50/50 horizontal and vertical.
In my mind, one of the great features of the 645 is/are the two tripod
mounts, each carefully aligned with the lens central axis. So with a
quick-release on each, it takes about 1 second to switch from horizontal to
vertical or back, and with minimal if any fussing to recompose.

15 shots on 120, 30 on 220. The newer 645N and 645Nii are a bit more clever
and get another shot or two from each roll.
