My wife and I recently did a road trip around New South Wales. One of the places
we visited was Mungo National Park. part of the UNESCO World Heritage–listed
Willandra Lakes Region.  It's a wondrous place, not just for the spectacular,
eroded landforms - archeological work has established evidence of human
occupation here, dating back at least 40,000 years.
