I suppose you actually could train this guy, or girl, to do it, since
someone inadvertently trained him to approach people for food. Who'd a
thought a glorified goldfish could be trained to do anything.

I suspect it must me "disposable", or you need to have a well-trained
fish that comes home like those pigeons.
And I guess that's where "fishing" can have the same meaning as
"birding". :-)
