I didn't check very carefully or see the segments on the underside, so you may be correct. I know some of the males have feathered antennae, but I am not sure that applies to all species. It seemed quite camera shy, and backed away when I tried to photograph it, so I didn't try to induce it to mount my hand. I have had other mantises land on my finger quite readily.
