I don't notice any mention of software here? As a software engineer, I can assure you that all the fancy hardware in the world won't do much for you if you don't have software! And no, I won't write it for you(unless you're a millionaire, then I'll write anything you want!). I suspect that some of the alternative solutions being bandied around on the list would be more practical - modify a N**** or C**** to accept K-mount, or go to Japan where you can kidnap Mr Pentax and feed him only lutefisk until he agrees to produce a Pentax DSLR. Shouldn't take more than half an hour.
