And that's the most annoying thing.  I assumed since National Geographic wanted me to register to see the images that it was their exclusive.   In that case asking me for something to see them is a bit annoying, but I can't blame them.  They don't even own the images!  They're available freely elsewhere on the internet.   Arrggg.
