Some people never progress. In say 20 years all they get is a year's experience 20 times. The more diligent get a full 20 years experience. Applies to Road Running too!

Who is your target market? This might make a good article for PetaPIXEL or one 
of the other photography blogs aimed at beginners or low experience 
intermediate photographers, but around here you're preaching to the choir …
My target audience is the beginning and intermediate photographers on 
discussion groups.    I was asking people here for feedback on how to make it 
better, not trying to teach them.  One big reason for my hanging out here is 
that with 46 years, I’m still one of the less experienced members of the list.
