Looks like the Lijiang River in China. When I got to go to China in 2010 we took a cruise down that river Guilin to Yangshou County City. At the end of the cruise, as we were getting off the boat I saw a similar fisherman there on the landing with two cormorants on a pole just like that.

My biggest regret from that trip is not getting a photo of him because our guide was hustling us along & I was afraid to linger long enough and get left behind.

The "boat" looks exactly like the boat the vegetable salesman was using to pole out into the river and meet the cruise boats coming down river. I did get some photos of him & I'll post one up to Flickr later.

If I ever win the local NPR station's pledge drive trips that allows you to pick the "destination of your choice", I know EXACTLY WHERE I'm going.
