Actually, I was trying to focus on things other than flowers, still lives, macros... These are works that make me feel at home. I do not claim I mastered those, of course. But they are not challenging enough. Yet, after photographing my spouse and her aunt together (which went as planned, using film & a TLR) at their home this particular scene attracted my attention and I let myself loose again, if that is a proper expression. Yes, I did change the spot the vase was standing (a few centimeters) and I put some books and a handbag under the camera for stability. That is all really. I did not touch the flowers (which for bought just before our visit) but I rotated the vase a bit. Oh! What a rant. Thank you again for visiting and asking.
