I don't remember what my last status was, but things seem to be settling down,
if the wind doesn't shift in the wrong direction, we should be fine.

While I was packing I tried to get some photos showing the eerie light. I took
a few panoramas, spent some time this evening stitchng them together, and just
processed them pretty much "straight daylight" color balance and also a set
more corrected. There's no real artistic merit to any of these, they're mostly
documentary, but I hope that they do give some idea of the feel of things.

Some panos I took while packing, processed both at "daylight" color balance
and a color balance that is a bit more "corrected"

The air has really been clearing up, and today from Santa Cruz, I actually saw
some clear sky
Here's one I got with my phone
