Interesting gallery, Subash, paticularly because they all look familiar to me. That lens does well but it seems you have the knack of getting very close too.

Then, the Royal Enfield - a British make which became wholly Indian. The local "Voetspore" (footprints) team recently did a 3 month tour of India & used a variety of Royal Enfield bikes on various stages - a sort of promotion too. Voetspore has covered most of Africa but also Madagascar & India over about 10 years.

We are down to Covid stage 2 now so there is more freedom. It is great to venture into the Kruger Park again after being cooped up for so long. Hopefully we will avoid a second spike.

hi,

hope you've all been safe during these testing times...

like most of us, i've been forced to work from home from the first of
june, chennai being one of the covid hotspots in india. that is not fun
at all because you are on call 24x7. when lockdown restrictions were
relaxed i have been able to go out birding/butterflying...this is a
small collection from such trips:

all the photos have been taken with the k3ii and the FA100/3.5.

the enablement is not photo-related. it is a 2013 royal enfield
thunderbird 500cc, bought second-hand. it is not all that powerful but
it's got plenty of torque available at a relatively lower rpm and
that's what is needed for a ride in the himalayas. that is where i
intend to go next summer if, and that is a big if, this covid business
gets over by then...

hope you enjoy the photos. stay safe...
