some rain overnight - all 93mm of it. The town has been washed and all
the mosquito larvae are on their way to Mozambique. My early morning
jaunt was a pleasure at only 20C. The cacophony of the frog & toad
orchestras was indescribable. However, I was saddened by the number of
frogs squashed under streetlights where they were simply feasting on
fallen insects. There was a GIant African Land Snail (female) on our
lawn when i got back. The first I have seen this season:
