Thanks for looking, Alan. The birds around here are making themselves scarce, except for the finches at my thistle feeder and the sparrows who gather beneath to grab the seeds that fall to the snow. I did get a beautiful solitary male cardinal for a few minutes yesterday, which is the subject of a separate PESO. A small hawk perched in a tree along my drive, but by the time I grabbed my camera, it was gone.
Enjoy your birds, and remember that hot and wet is not as bad as freezing rain, which is what we expect tonight here.
