I've had a pair of geese attacking me from behind again and again while I was trying to take photos of a power station at the river Sambre in Charleroi, Belgium. No nest, no little ones, no apparent reason other than their claim to the place. Eventually, a kid of some seven years came along, spread his arms, ran towards them and off they fled into the river, protesting vociferously. :-) Ralf -- Ralf R.
