Subash, your trip was obviously very worthwhile. I'm a bit surprised at the abundance of birdlife in such a hostile environment but I suppose there must be sufficient food & water. Glad you achieved your objective with the Great Indian Bustard. I looked it up - the world's 2nd largest Bustard after the Kori which we have in Kruger but I've only ever spotted a few over many years.
