Sorry to hear that Mark: you may recall I lost my daughter to pancreatic cancer 
7 years ago.  Those years are never easy having to
deal with such an awful disease.

Thanks. She was in California staying with Lisa's sister in 2020 when she 
started having problems. A visit to the local Urgent Care
and an ultrasound revealed a mass on the pancreas and Lisa said "get your ass 
to Boston NOW" (or words to that effect). She arrived
*two days* before Logan airport shut down for the peak of the pandemic. 
Diagnosed at age 92 and made it well past her 94th birthday.
An amazing woman.

Of course, having a cancer patient in the house meant Lisa and I were "extra 
locked down" because we couldn't afford to bring Covid
back home to her. Very stressful couple of years. We've really spent the last 6 
months or so coming out of our shell.
