Fred, Normally, softness at wide apertures would keep me from buying a lens. But the price was right, and I love the feel of the SMC K lenses, at times regretting selling my 28/2K, 105/2.8K, and 135/2.5K. I guess I'll hold on to my Rikenon 50/2 for available light shots at f/2.8 to f/5.6 and bring out the 55/1.8K for outdoor shots and flash. Any chance the 50/1.4K would yield sharp pics at the wider apertures? (I'm expecting a job offer next week, so I'm ready to revert to my shameful old ways.)
