Hello All I know this is not a Mac mailing list but I thought I would ask the following question. I have always been a windows user with occasional dabbling in Linux. My son who moved out left behind I think a 3 year old Macbook air 13". It's screen no longer works. I have debated having it fixed to try a mac out for editing photo's. The quotes I have got indicate a cost for a new screen being about half the advertised price of a new machine. Would it be worth it? Any other feedback would be greatly appreciated.
