I acquired a Leica M6TTL body recently, similar to the one I had in '99-'03 but this time with the higher magnification (0.85x) viewfinder. This is sweet!
My first roll through it ... well, my developer was a little tired and it came out a bit thin. The second roll, I decided to fit the Pentax 43mm f/1.9 Special lens and I mixed up fresh developer and fixer. I also decided to just rely upon the built in meter with no tweaking .. and the result is *perfect* negatives. :) Chairs - Santa Clara 2024 :: https://flic.kr/p/2qkKrYK Skeletons - Santa Clara 2024 :: https://flic.kr/p/2qkRcbx Fence - Santa Clara 2024 :: https://flic.kr/p/2qkPULZ Tesla Truck - Santa Clara 2024 :: https://flic.kr/p/2qkPUMa Film used was Ilford HP5 Pro, rated at ISO 320 and processed in HC-110 mixed 1:49 for 10 minutes @ 70°F. The 43mm focal lens is a perfect match to my eyes and the 0.85x viewfinder: I have the LTM->M adapter on it that triggers the 35mm frame lines, but the 35mm frame lines are *just* outside my field of view when I'm wearing my glasses. However, the FoV of the 43mm lens turns out to be *exactly* just inside my field of view, so the combination works very very well for me! enjoy!
