Ricoh P lenses will not work in program mode of Pentax cameras. HOWEVER....most 3rd party manual focus lenses (with the PK-A/R mount) from Sigma and Tokina, plus Tamron adaptall, will work with both in program mode. By the way, the Ricoh 105/2.8 Macro is Ricoh only and absolutely great....Vivitar 105/2.8 Macro is PK-A ONLY....not a PK-A/R. Robert James
