Yes, you can load 220 in the daylight. There's no more risk than with 120. The only real concern I would have with 220 and doing outdoor loading is the dust/dirt issue. You can ruin (scratch) a whole roll with a piece of dust on the pressure plate. With 120, the paper backing is your protection.
