I don't know who Frantisek was quoting, but I know he responded to the following:

But, I have read that the Ziess Jena f4.0 20mm is in fact sharper than the 2.8, and
that despite being slower, the 4.0 is the preferable lens, due to it's sharpness.

I have no personal experience, but I'd be interested in hearing from anyone who
does, being that I'm always on the lookout for an ultra-wide (for the right price,
of course <g>).
