Sorry Peter, but from what I've seen Vivitar (even VS1) lenses aren't worth more in Nikon mount. Used Nikkor lenses may, in general, sell for more used than Pentax lenses, but not 3rd party ones. There are also a number of focal length Nikon lenses that are very common, but rare for Pentax (105, 85 & 180/200) that are cheaper for Nikons.
