Outdoor landscape ? I have a 283 Wayne, and it seems to do me just fine for many types of shots but most of them involve portraits of one type or another.
When you say "landscape" I seem to envision grand vistas and such at great distances and I don't know if any flash would be appropriate. Maybe you could elaborate ? If you're just looking for fill flash or a "do-it-all-no-matter-what-camera" flash .. then either 283 or 285 will work great. Difference being of course that the 285 has the head that can manually "zoom" vs the 283 which has no zoom.
