I just checked it with another lens (135mm) and the problem's there too :-(
Is there any fix besides a CLA?

Simon,

You may want to check to see if your other lenses are focusing to infinity
with your camera to rule out mirror misalignment.  Or put the lens on
another body to check as well.

If the mirror is misaligned on the body, you will have focusing
inaccuracies; especially when you open up the lens (shallow depth of field).
