Hi,

I want to sell a Pentax SMC 2.8/105. It comes with the original lens
hood and rear cap. I don't have to tell much about this lens being
considered to be one of the sharpest lenses Pentax ever made...

The lens is in good condition - there are no dings or scratches. There
are only two unpleasant things: (1) There is a little piece of dust
behind the front lens. (2) The coating on the rear lens is not perfect.
There are some minor spots on it (3-5 spots measure max. 0.5mm in
diameter, the rest is much smaller). There is NO fungus! I suspect that
someone tried to blow some dust away leaving some spit on the lens. Over
the years the spit must have damaged the coating.

Both things don't have an effect on the quality of pictures as far as I
can see. But I wanted to give a true and honest description of the lens.

Now - what might be a fair price? I know, that these lenses are traded
around 200,- Euro/US-$. I wouldn't pay that price for this lens
myself;-) So I wanted to ask you to help me finding a fair price. Maybe
somone is interested in buying it and makes me an offer. I would prefer
to sell the lens in Germany or Europe as the transportation and
insurance would be easier. But I would also ship it internationally if
wanted. Anyway - the buyer will have to pay the shipping.

Regards,

Heiko Hamann
