But surely the most visible difference is the size and weight!

F100: 6.1 x 4.5 x 2.6" (155 x 113 x 66mm)
      1.73 lb (785 g)
MZ-S: 5.4 x 3.7 x 2.5" (136.5 x 95 x 64mm)
      1.14 lb (520 g)

In another words, F100 weighs a staggering 50% more than MZ-S and it is
40% (volume) larger! If you hold both in your hands, the difference feels
even larger. As with most other products, we are expected to pay a
premium for miniaturization; and some features have to be sacrificed.
Most of us do not appreciate enough the engineering required to put all
the features MZ-S has into a small and well built body.

For people who can appreciates MZ-S's size and weight and interface, they
will enjoy using the MZ-S.
For those who want all the extra features of F100 and who does not mind
the size and weight, go ahead and get the F100.
If Pentax has made the MZ-S as big and as heavy as F100, with all the
matching specs (higher shutter speed, fps) etc, why would anyone select
Pentax when it is just a F100 clone? Might as well get the real F100.
