Note: I sold this lens to Cotty awhile back... replaced it with a new one... it really is pretty sharp even at f2.8; it handles great; and with the Pentax 1.7x AF Adaptor makes a superb 500/f5 lens that rivals the FA* 600/4 in usefulness and image quality. ...folks, this 300/2.8 is the best bargain in big glass for Pentax... -- John Mustarde www.photolin.com
