I enjoy some spicy contention and I don't object to some playful badinage as long as it's not malicious or childish. We've been dabating some emotive topics so it's to be expected that the blood may boil at times. However it is a good idea to cool down first and try to be more cold blooded in responses. That's not to say that you shouldn't be cheeky, and retaliation in kind is a fair thing when it's deserved, but getting hot-blooded rarely helps. Cliched summation: "Been there, done that".
