I would say it depends on what you are doing; have a look at the
outstanding bugs and see if there are any show stoppers in there:

If you aren't doing anything too fancy, then you shouldn't have any
problems; if you're an ISP, then you might run into some nasty bugs.
The best thing to do is to test it first; load up your existing zones,
capture traffic off of your current production boxes and replay it at
PowerDNS, then compare answers.
