Thomas,

I'm not sure I understand the problem. :-)

The problem is to be able to track mac addresses and the hostname over a long time. Sometimes it takes several months to discover that a Bladecenter Management Module has dropped dhcp lease.

if you're using ISC DHCPD, have you considered using the "execute"
statement [1] to do that?

I wasn't aware that there is a "execute". Thanks for telling me, this will be the easiest way to solve my Problem.

Thanks Thomas
