Hi everybody, In response to the security releases we did yesterday, we've activated the built-in PowerDNS 'upgrade now' system for the first time, and we have a question for you.
This system is described in http://blog.powerdns.com/2014/10/22/powerdns-security-status-polling/ and documented on https://doc.powerdns.com/md/common/security/#security-polling As you are upgrading, could you check if the message was logged correctly to your syslog? We'd like to know if the system works as intended. And, while we have your attention, we'd like to remind you that if you poll the 'security-status' metric of PowerDNS (which you can also plot if you want), you can get your monitoring system to warn you about upgrades!
