Just wondering if someone can confirm that this is indeed a bug, as this type of returntype-inference is quite heavily used by the Symfony framework, ie: https://github.com/symfony/symfony/blob/master/src/Symfony/Bundle/FrameworkBundle/Controller/Controller.php#L152 regards -robert
