Hi,
I deactivated it due to the RC phase of Mars.2. PDT 3.7 is contributed to
Mars.2 and I wanted to avoid any unexpected nightly builds that can mess our
contribution to the Simultaneous Release Train.
Mars.2 has been just done - it should be announced today. We should now change
the PDT features/plugin's version to 4.0 and start promoting nightly builds
again.

is there a reason that PDT nightly builds are deactivated in hudson
("promote-nightly<https://hudson.eclipse.org/pdt/job/promote-nightly/>" task) ?
Latest available nightly build (on
http://download.eclipse.org/tools/pdt/updates/latest-nightly/ and
http://download.eclipse.org/tools/pdt/updates/3.7-nightly) is from 12 february
2016.
