Robby,
Have we ruled out any plan to have a booth at the upcoming OSCON?
Last night, I spoke to Dave Mandel of the big PLUG, who said that
even with the local LUG discount; the fee is prohibitive.
Dave says that he is trying to invite Linux expert(s) who will be in
town for OSCON to their regular meeting of that week. Perhaps, we can
meet a week earlier during that period; and find some expert(s)
willing to attend our meeting?
Any plans to invite Linux expert(s) to future meetings?
With OSDL, Novell, Intel, et. al. nearby; there ought to be a decent
pool of talent to choose from... even if we fail to get Linus. Has
anyone invited him yet?
Rodney
