I switched to irssi. I heard it makes you attractive to all sexes and successful in your selected career.
Anyway, I confirm that it is convenient, useful, userfriendly, and fun. However, I have been having trouble remaining connected for 24 hour periods. I find it annoying to have to type "/msg nickserv identify [...]" everytime I sit down. It does autoreconnect, which is nice.
